Safety is paramount

Prioritizing safety is what lets us and you go home safely every day.

At our fabrication shop, safety isn’t just a requirement—it’s a core value that drives everything we do. A strong, proactive safety program ensures our team can work confidently and efficiently, knowing their well-being comes first.

How we promote safety

Reducing risks, minimizing downtime, & delivering high-quality results

By prioritizing training, proper procedures, and a culture of accountability, we reduce risks, minimize downtime, and deliver consistent, high-quality results for our clients. Our commitment to safety reflects our professionalism and reliability, giving our partners peace of mind that every project is built with care, precision, and integrity.

We continuously track safety statistics to assess and enhance our safety practices because we know proactive measures are crucial in maintaining an accident and injury-free workplace.

There’s a reason our motto is “Safety is no accident.”

Our safety program

TIW Western has a robust safety program and maintains Alberta COR certification with an industry leading WCB record.

New and existing employees follow our rigorous safety program consisting of weekly toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings, and all new employees are trained using in-house and external training resources over a minimum of two weeks.

It’s a time and energy commitment from us that is, without question, worth every second.

Our safety certifications

We are proud members of the Manufacturers Health and Safety Association, and we’re also a member of ISN, Avetta, Complyworks, Cognisense, and ContractorXchange.

Your Safety

Your safety matters as much as ours.

It’s why we maintain strict quality assurance standards and a long list of industry certifications. We want you to be confident in our products and services, so we go the extra mile. Every time.
