Originally from Hong Kong, Corey Sze is a professional engineer who completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Material Engineering at the University of Alberta in 2006 in Edmonton before kicking off his career as an application engineer.

He’s worked with several equipment manufacturers in Alberta since then, building experience as a Senior Estimator before moving on to become Manager of Project and Engineering. Corey joined us at TIW Western as our VP of Project Delivery and Engineering in December 2024.

Corey has a special interest in project management principles like lean manufacturing and the critical path method that he uses to optimize and elevate our workflow and processes at TIW Western, helping us keep up with the tight schedules we balance with our research and innovation projects.

A homebody at heart, Corey loves spending time with his spouse and two daughters. When he does get out of the house, you can find him biking, skiing, or playing the occasional racquet sport.
