Description
We are seeking an energetic and driven Project Manager with 5-10 years of experience to join our growing team. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering and Project Execution, this full-time role is based in our Calgary office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing large-scale equipment supply and installation projects from initial award through to site completion.
The Project Manager will oversee multi-million-dollar projects and ensure successful execution through excellent communication and collaboration with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal teams. The successful candidate will uphold TIW Western’s core values of honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions.
Duties
- Collaborate with project engineers and drafting teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, contracts, technical specifications, and design codes.
- Support purchasing and production teams as needed to meet project objectives.
- Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and sub-contractor bid packages.
- Communicate regularly with customer commercial and technical representatives.
- Provide monthly progress updates to customers and quarterly financial reports to the leadership team.
- Manage multi-disciplinary activities throughout the project lifecycle, including design, fabrication, site installation, commissioning, and equipment startup.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Utilities, or similar industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, and design codes.
- Familiarity with ASME codes and standards.
- Knowledge of thermal/heat transfer principles, combustion systems, mechanical engineering design and modular fabrication is considered an asset.

Education
- Technical degree or diploma in an engineering discipline
- PMP designation considered an asset.
